Nothing in Particular Thread

It seems like there should be a single thread where team members could just gather and catch up with eachother about nothing in particular.  It's nice to have other threads to discuss a particular topic, but would also be nice to have a thread where you could go to see who's around at that moment.

You know, like a never-ending, continuously running thread.

Anyone notice the change of listing descriptions from underneath to stage-right? My eye expects the descriptions to be where they usually are, and I see nothing until I scan around. I suppose I'll keep on doing this until I get used to it. Still, I find the new layout awkward and unnecessary - like so many changes Esty does, LOL.

No changes for me in listing view (yet)- so another new test perhaps! What's on the left now? Couldn't be anything more important than a description?

@psych. My descriptions were stage right also for a couple weeks. Then last week they are back under the item. So pretty sure they're still testing. Underneith the item was a BIG BLANK space and then you scrolled down and it went into Reviews,etc.. It was a mess looking at it. I'm sure a potential buyer probably thought I set it up! But even though I think it's back to normal hard telling what others are seeing. Just wish they'd quit messing with things on such a regular basis. Ugh.

Mine was like that but it went back to normal about a week ago. (The description is back under the picture now.)  I get the feeling it's some kind of rotating test where they're showing it to a group of us at a time.  And, yes, it's awful.

And there you go- I have it now @GielDesigns , since an hour ago. Under dimensions on the right, with just reviews below on the left. It looks dumb there, and is easily missed there. We read English and any information, left to right. I had clicked on a listing I liked and thought- wait- no description at all?? And then saw it in the side field to the right. Please no...

lion, it was undergoing a massive renovation when a fire began, apparently in the scaffolding. the spire, the roof, the ceiling, and the wooden framework are now gone. they are racing to save the art and relics they can. it is beyond words. if it was arson all hell will break loose, literally. that thing survived the french revolution only to have this happen.

as an artist, there are no words. as a californian, having gone through huge wildfires this is terrifying to watch. macron is asking people to pray and ring church bells...

Partial French heritage here.... so was truly upset to see what transpired ! 

Have been watching all unfold from the beginning according to what is portrayed through news channels here in NY ! .....  Arson or not / there could have / and should have been a helicopter run to douse the fire from above !!!   If the roof is on fire / douse it with water !!!  I saw one firefighter today / then another that showed up an hour later !   Then found this online ......  

"Helicopter or plane, the weight of the water and the intensity of dropping it at low altitude could weaken the structure of Notre-Dame and cause collateral damage to surrounding buildings," it tweeted.

It could have / and probably should have ... been doused from above ! .....  sooner than later might just have worked / but nobody tried it !   " Weaken the structure of Notre Dame " !????? ......   you didn't " douse" it / so it was just totally destroyed !!!   Why not try something ! ?   Like ....hours ago / when it may have mattered !? 

It's too late now .....    saw it coming this morning  :(
