Thanks for creating this new chit chat team!  I'm so disappointed with the new forums.

I should have expected this as I have been an eBay seller for years ... their forums are similiar.

Did you know that super cold sub-zero weather can drain batteries really fast?  Not just car batteries, sitting in your garage or in a parking lot - but also your electronics, like laptops & cell phones?  Just something to think  about - it would be awful to get stranded somewhere and find you had a dead phone.  I think I have a charger in my car.  Do you all have car chargers for your phones?

I keep one in my purse for this exact reason, and try to recommend the same to family and friends. My phone is older and the battery drains more readily; sometimes it'll go from 60% full to 'low battery' instantly this time of year. It's a little scary to think of the prospect of that happening when we actually need it.

Hi, I just found my way back here,have been missing everyone.Posted in the "wrong" thread the other day and it did not go well.....so I happy to find all of you, just hope I can find this again at another time.  Very cold here with a storm on the way, so I set out some bird seed and hope the squirrels either cannot find it or it is too high for them to jump into.  Also hoping that with the lack of snow cover the bears are really taking a break.  Hope everyone is having a great day.
