'Bopa' here under another guise.
Thought I'd get a general chat thread rolling ... while we wait for the 'big chop'.
Shall we get our knitting needles out - like the women who surrounded the guillotine?! (seems very etsyesque!)
Lovely treasury artizen - nice earthy colours - plus several sellers I hadn't come across before
A bit bleak here today - too dark to take any photos. Plenty of other things to get stuck into though - after I've had a quick whizz around the local charity shops!
I know it isn't difficult to confuse me, but there are SO many threads, that now I am not sure which one I should be on....lol.... Is this the current one to chat on?? Have a lovely weekend everyone Brenda x
Hi Teabreaks. Yes, we're singing from the same hymn book!! This is the 'discussion' or thread where we have our general chats at the moment. However, there are several other threads under 'Discussion' on various topics - and we will add to them as appropriate. If you click on Discussion you will be able to immediately see who has recently posted on other threads. Also, feel free to start your own 'Discussion' thread if you want to chat about something specific (i.e. not related to our daily chats)! Another bleak day here. Both sons have been ill with the flu so our house is none too cheerful at the moment. Could do with some sun!

Thanks MolliMade working hard to fill up shop as Iv some other art work to do afterwards. I have a lot of vintage and collectables such as postcards and things and wondering if I should try selling here on etsy or if it would be better on folksy.. I havnt time right now but thought maybe about March or April.. can anyone advise which they think would be better? Folksy or Etsy for collectables?

Hi earthdiva, thanks for the welcome.
Hi CariadClay, thanks for the welcome.
Hello to everyone else. I am still not shop ready, all of my things are in boxes and I am behind in unpacking and feeling a bit sick from a cold and earaches at the moment. Probably will open later, much later in the year.
Did you see the blog post about Welsh Lovespoons in the Etsy blog?
ooh no...I missed the lovespoon blog...do you have a link? Morag...I have done really well with my art on folksy.....need to do the same here on etsy next....I need to list more often on here as it keeps the shop in view more often...I am still trying to learn about circles and treasuries etc....all very complicated...
I made a love spoon out of clay before christmas, it took ages, and sill me i left it to dry on the table overnight and my daughter got up before me and poked it and it broke :(
I haven't had the heart to make another but this has inspired me :)
