We now have a new 'home' here and look forward to meeting many new etsyians who share our love of Wales.

SewMuch joining this team too - so that I don't have to worry which ID I'm signed in under! I'm glad to see that the signing up process was straightforward - that's a relief. I had to word everything quite hurriedly last night (or was it early this morning? Night and Day seem to merge in our house!). I hope it all reads OK. I want to make it as welcoming and inclusive as possible. If you think there's anything I ought to change, please let me (or Bopa!) know.

We are not, of course, restricted to this opening thread. We can start any number of 'discussions'. Keeping track of them all will be the issue.
I think we just need to wade in and give it a go!

I think I'll start a general chat 'discussion' - aside from this 'Welcome' discussion.

I add my thanks to Bopa/Sew for doing this!!
Heehee, I'm able to join this great team even though I am far away! Originally from Colwyn Bay, in north Wales, I'm now in the French mountains called the Massif Central. I love the fact that there is this team where I can keep to my roots!!

I just want to say hello on this thread, and I look forward to getting to know you all.

I managed to get 3 paintings done this afternoon, so I am quite pleased with that....just need time now to take pics and list them !!

Good to see you (almost) all here. Went to see my almost born new grand=daughter this afternoon. My daugher in law has been having Branston Hicks (fake contractions which don't get you anywhere, for those of you who don't yet have kids) for a week and the baby has still not put in an appearance! Her father was just the same.

I had a fraud convo this afternoon - lady? in ivory Coast with thousnad of £ and wanting my help - you know the line. I reported it to etsy admin. Has anyone else had it?

One final questions - this is my market research - shawls, fringe or no fringe? What are your preferences?

Going to bed - the tennis is on early tomorrow and I want to watch. Nos da.

hi everyone...a beautiful day in South Wales, but chilly outside. Hope you are all busy crafting and selling of course....I have only sold one item on etsy in months....mmm...I need to promote more I think....

How do you go about promoting more on etsy Teabreaks?

I've re-listed stuff but I read that many people don't find the etsy promotional stuff very effective. Have I just misunderstood - should I be doing something else too?
