Everything is well! I had a 2-day craft show this past weekend and one coming up on Saturday. I was super tired, lol. But now I'm ready to go back at it. The weather has been up and down here, waiting for it to become steady!
The weather has been crazy here in the UK. We have scattered showers, and they rain really heavy - so a lot of local flooding. Plus it has been freezing at night time.
I am well too. Although I feel really tired. Maybe I am having an off day.
Andi: 13th for us, Sunday just gone :D and thanks, I've missed you guys too!
Slowly getting into the swing of things (like atm i'm nursing bubs and typing one handed lol), but its been a bit of a struggle for me, been dealing with anxiety issues and they're keeping an eye on it to make sure it doesn't manifest into postnatal depression. Thinking though now that i'm getting to be more social it all might settle down for me. Squish btw is awesome.. quiet, content and smiles heaps already!
Kelly, I had HORRIBLE anxiety with my pregnancy and after my daughter was born. I was so bad I made my older kids change their clothes when they came home from school and had to wash their hands before they even touched the baby. And peanuts were banned from the house (No allergies, just nuts:)
Turns out its just hormones that were exacerbating my undiagnosed anxiety issues. Fun stuff. Make sure you tell other people whats going on in your head. It helps to share the anxiety. Plus, they will tell you if your starting to lose it. Big hugs, Mum. You are doing a great job and it will get easier.
I am so excited! it is great to be living in the UK right now. The Queens Jubliee has started and the whole country gets June 1st to the 5th off work! The Olympic torch has landed and people are running all over the country carrying it! Also eurovision song contest starts on saturday! sooo excited! The country is electric. Everyone seems to be really happy and proud! :)
lol Eurovision Song Contest. It is basically a annual contest, held in europe, where each european country (that qualified) has a reprensensitive, who sings. It is shown live on TV, and the whole of europe votes for their favourite song (cannot vote for your own country) and the country with the most votes wins and gets to host next years contest. This year the contest is being held in Azerbaijan. I don't remember what they sang last year though! LOL
It is taken very seriously by some and an absolute laugh by others. I am a bit of both.
Each country selects their represensitive by having a small contest where a few singers, bands who fancy a shot at winning - the public vote for their favourite and wallah - we have a contestant for the main show!
A few people got their big break through eurovision, Abba is one of them.
That is the coolest thing ever! We have American Idol and The Voice, neither of which I watch but I like Eurovision better already! Thanks for answering Katie!
Too many singing shows on TV now. Then the people who can actually sing and have talent never get record deals. Most people out today can't even hold a decent tune on their own without "tech" help.
I remember in 2003, the uk act 'jemini' was a total fail. She was out of tune, and that was the first time ever the UK got zero points!!!!! They became hate figures in the uk after that lol!!!
