Hi everyone! I'm Janice and I love doing needlecraft, especially counted cross stitch projects. I like to stitch a lot of different items from pictures you hang on the wall to small items you can hold in your hand like gift tags and bookmarks. I also love to design cross stitch patterns.

I'm very excited to be here and I hope to learn from all of you and maybe pass on some knowledge myself.

I make personalized sterling silver jewelry and unique rings. I'm an RN that quit my day job one year ago to pursue my online business full time! It's been very exciting and seemingly successful... right up until tax time when I realized I had to pay thousands and thousands of dollars! I had no idea how much my real job had been offsetting the taxes owed on my jewelry business. Now I'm on track with quarterly payments, but learning how to run a business full time has been a harsh reality. I look forward to being a part of this community!

Hello! My name is Janet. I have two shops on Etsy which are relatively new. My vintagejewels etc has many, many things in it including books, vintage patterns, handmade by me sewing items (christmas stockings, quilts), crochet and knit items. I also have some very unique vintage buttons. In my other shop I have handmade by me Christmas Stockiings.

I love all sorts of crafts and vintage items and just have to include them all in my shop. Eventually I hope to diversify even more. My dream is to have a Wedding Shop with Wedding Dresses, Bridesmaids and Prom Dresses and all the Flora and Fauna. I have been sewing since I was 8 years old; learning in 4-H. I have taught 4-H sewing for 2 years. Sewing is my passion.

I also love to knit and crochet. I taught myself to knit when I was 8. My Mom was not a crafty person and could not teach me. She bought me a book, two needles and a skein of yarn. I loved it!

My shops could both use some help. I have sold a few items in my vintage store but my perfect stocking shop has been lacking in sales. I did start a little late in the year but plan to add more unique stockings as the year progresses.

Holly homeschools the younger kids, teaches Latin at the local homeschool co-op, and takes care of the farm-ette, and Hannah is a full time college student. When I retired I learned to make the little outfits and do the embroidery and applique. I also learned to make hair bows. I sell a lot of hair bows at craft shows and more outfits here on etsy.
