Create custom quotes with scrolls and so forth?

I am new to making wall art and want to find out if anyone knows of a program where I can not only create quotes but also scrolls and other clipart type images to print for transfer onto wood? I have found basic quote making software but none that I can add scrolls and so forth. I am not an artist but would like to start with printable and work from there.

Hi Michelle, I've actually used MS Word for some of my design transfers onto wood, and it does have some clipart available and more online for download. If you have an inkjet printer and some time to practice your transfers, it can work well. I also have used the Paint program that came with my computer for some minor manipulations, such as flipping the image so it transfers easier. A friend of mine recently introduced me to a program called Gimp, which is free photo-editing software and could possibly be an option for you. I just haven't had much of a chance to try that one out.
