wrong price display for sale articles.

Hi, 

i have -10% sale in my store, but the display is wrong! 

It shows: new price 9,57€ (inkl. german tax) , BUT old price (cross out text, before sale)  9,03€ (also incl. tax). --> i checked it from different accounts already. 
The difference is 5% (not 10%) i want to have. 
Unfortunattely i cannot add any screen shot. 

It is very non-transparent and the customer is very confused....

It's a display issue relating to VAT.

When you put digital items on sale, etsy shows the Sale Price (VAT included) with VAT added. Making it a higher priced than the crossed out original.

It only happens on shop page and search and not individual listings or cart.

It's a years long display issue, that etsy either can't work out how to fix, or won't fix.

There's nothing you can do.

@TyKKnitdesign: As mentioned, it is a long time known issue that does not seem to be addressed by Etsy. The discounted price shows correctly for shops with no VAT like in the US.
