@ symbol won't translate on Pattern listing description

Hello,

I have a minor issue with my Pattern website.  I paint custom pet portraits so I have my email address in my listing description for customers to send me pet photos. When I go to my published Pattern website the email address doesn't show the @ symbol, instead it shows [!a]. However, it works fine on my Etsy shop listing (shows the @ symbol). Pattern must not recognize the @ symbol...not sure? Any suggestions how to fix this?
