shopping cart page disappears when items removed

Is anyone else having this problem? It's been going on for years now. Whenever I remove an item from my cart, the page refreshes and takes me to a different page in my cart. We also need to be able to bulk remove items from our cart. I am a seller and buy many supplies on Etsy. This issue takes up a lot of time, as I am removing 1 item, waiting for the page to refresh, then taken to a different page where there are different items (not the ones I'm trying to remove). It's really annoying and causing me to shop for supplies elsewhere when possible.

@HouseMargo: There are quite a few threads about this in this forum so you are not alone and there doe not seem to be any resolution.

I'm trying to envision the Walmart equivalent of that...

Load up your cart then remove an item - an associate runs up, grabs your cart puts everything you have left in your cart into a new cart and leaves.

That WOULD be annoying - if it wasn't so funny.
