shipping label not printing

Hello, I am having trouble printing shipping label for a customer who order an item. The replacement cost of shipping is $8.00 . It is a replacement item. Every time I try to print a label this comes up: You just purchased 0 labels, 1 label failed to purchase. I have refunded the customer, but now I want to send them the replace at my cost. How do I print a shipping label to mail the item back to them after I have already refunded them the item.

@OrnamentsMakeOrBuyRD you should be able to purchase and print another label - that message sounds like a typical etsy glitch.  Try again, or try using a different browser, to see if that works.  You can always purchase a label on another online postage site, such as PirateShip.  The discounts are similar or better than etsy label rates.

I have little patience for etsy glitches, and set up an account on PirateShip years ago.  Always good to have  backup plan!

When you refunded the buyer was the order also cancelled? I wonder if it's glitching because there's no longer an order to ship.
