Etsy, Can we please get an update on when the processing profiles will start working? We really need to be able to control our production times, over 600 of my listings are not even providing my clients with an estimated delivery date when they view the listing. It has been a very difficult past 4 days for me and I really hope this gets fixed soon!
How will I know if estimated delivery date information is missing?
If one of your shipping profiles is missing estimated delivery date information, an alert will be displayed in the following areas:
Commenting to bounce, Etsy needs to fix this asap!!
MemorableWedding: are your shipping profiles also being affected? I can not change mine.
Yes, I even tried to create new shipping profiles and delete the old ones but than what happens is every time someone places an order, the item is not automatically renewed and every listing associated with the new shipping profile does not show the customers an estimated delivery date at all. I currently have over 600 listings that are not showing my clients an estimated delivery date so I am sure a lot of people are not buying because everything I do is time sensitive, they are personalized items for events so people really need to know when they will receive their items. I really hope this goes live today, the past 4 days have been very tough for me with this glitch!
Another seller posted the following in their shop announcement ... I just did the same in my listings (top of description) ... hopefully buyers are patient & understanding in the matter!
PLEASE NOTE -- Due to a current issue on Etsy’s side, delivery estimates shown at checkout may not reflect the actual processing times listed on my products. If you have any questions, feel free to message me, I’m always happy to help!
Mine got fixed temporarily last evening. And, messed up again this morning. I am leaving for a vacation tomorrow, don't even know what to do anymore.
Same here—mine was fixed yesterday, but it’s broken again today. I’m having the opposite issue, though—I was on vacation last week and had extended my processing times, but now I can’t change them back to my usual faster shipping. What’s weird is that the processing times show correctly in my settings, but on the actual listing pages, they’re still showing the old, extended times. Ugh
@CopperLeafLeather I checked 3 of your listings. They all say if I order today, I will get by June 5-9.
Right, that's the problem. I have my items set to "ships in 1-2 days". Yesterday's orders needed to ship by tomorrow. Today's say I have 'til June 4, consistent with my old, extended processing times.
Yes, please fix this Etsy!!! I am currently on vacation and updating shipping dates with a message to the customers for every order that comes through. Not really what I want to be worrying about right now, but I don’t want to put my shop on vacation mode and miss out on orders. This also isn’t fair to customers who place an order with the expectation that it’ll arrive by a certain date. Fortunately, I’ve only had a couple customers request to cancel.
I've contacted Etsy 3 times regarding this issue. First about the ability to not be able to change in bulk, second time was that the Processing Times set were not being reflected (I extended it to 1-4 days with Memorial Day weekend) and it was giving 1-2 days to ship by, and third it was briefly fixed and now orders are back to giving 1-2 days ship (again I have it set to 1-4 days). Incredibly frustrating and already lost my Star Seller status because of having to manually go through and update the 'Ship By Date' on each order for the past week. All times they said it would be fixed.
Been here since 2018. This is the most egregious error I have ever witnessed. Being able to rapidly adjust processing times is crucial for all sellers.
I was about to start a new post, but will just tack my "FIX THIS" request onto this thread!
I spent time on the weekend going through to update my processing profiles, it seemed easy enough to assign them in bulk… but it looks like some didn’t stick because I just got an order that had “no estimated delivery date” and sure enough, there was no processing profile attached. I know other sellers reported this in the forums too.
I can’t for the life of me figure out how to filter to see which of my listings have processing profiles and which don’t. I want to correct the bogus ones, and not need to open hundreds of listings one by one to make sure there’s a processing time attached. Does anyone know if there’s a way to do this?
How will I know if estimated delivery date information is missing?

Mine are still not working?
Anyone else found a way around this?
My new orders are coming in correctly, but my issue was definitely not that I was missing processing times.
My processing times are 2 weeks (no weekends) for made-to order.
Etsy shows on the listings: Order today (June 30) to get by 16 Jun - July 03.
June 16 is only 2 days processing (not what I set) and 2 weeks delivery (realistic from rural Canada).
One listing that was coming in fine yesterday got sold twice today with "no estimated date"
This is so frustrating. (I have nothing else to add, am just venting)
Adding my frustration here. I have orders placed today that have ship by dates 2 days sooner than orders placed yesterday. My shipping profiles have not changed so what is going on?
Apparently, I suddenly have orders that will be shipped tomorrow!! Who knew?
Not I !!! That was not in the plan.
Adding to this since contacting Etsy Support led to an agent stopping the conversation abruptly with ‘an agent will be with you in 4-7 days’ message! I have a small shop but anything I listed after 27th is not showing either an estimated delivery date or delivery costs to international orders- until they add to basket. It does put customers off, so I’d like to know when this will be fixed! I don’t want to list new things when there’s a bug like this in an important feature. It looks like there’s no indication of when it is going to be fixed?
Also having a similar issue with this "processing profiles" and I am incredulous. A HUGE PROBLEM. There is a massive difference in time for my made to order vs. in stock that when a color or size sells out of something in stock, I just leave it as sold out on Etsy. So exciting that they've finally made an easy way to allow customers to special order without a custom listing! So I spent all the time using the new variation, and changing all the inventory quantities so they are no longer sold out, just longer production times. Circling back today, and none of that saved! So now, someone might order an article of clothing that they think will arrive in 1-3 days when in reality it will take 8 weeks!!! And there was no notice whatsoever. And now all my inventory numbers are screwed up because there is no way to see which variations are which since they just deleted the variation entirely. Now I have to go back through one by one - several listings that can have up to 48 size/color variations in PER listing! Fuming!!!
I checked the Etsy Seller Handbook and they *are* aware, supposedly they just sent an email about this (although they posted this prior to the email actually going out, so I had the time to write a long rant about THAT before the email finally went through, lol) Now, I have to just guess if this troubleshooting is going to take a couple of hours, in which case I'll just leave the listings as is and cross my fingers, or if it's going to take days or weeks - or maybe they just give up on the processing time variation altogether! I have a standalone website that has to deal with the same issue and I get it; it's a more complicated backend issue than one would think but Etsy is a giant platform, don't release it if it hasn't been thoroughly beta tested!!!!
Editor's Note: Updated June 5
After the launch of Processing Profiles on May 21, we discovered an issue that caused processing time details to be removed from a small percentage of listings. This means that for those listings, buyers were not seeing estimated delivery dates and “Ship By” dates were missing in Shop Manager. We know how important this information is so we’ve turned off Processing Profiles while we troubleshoot. We sent an email about this issue to all sellers on June 5.
