"On Time Shipping" went down because I had no tracking number on a DIGITAL ITEM

I sell a digital version as an OPTION to my custom art prints.

When I hit 'no tracking number' etsy gave me the option to select that it was digital as to the reason why.

Then WHY THE HECK would that count against my perfect score. (not only that, it was delivered WAY in advance of the predicted ship date)

Next time I'll make up a tracking number -- but sellers beware, they are holding it against you.

It counts against you because all orders require tracking for star seller.

It it was an instant digital download, it wouldn't count against you. You've chosen to list it as an option within a physical listing, thereby forcing you to "ship" it.

Being able to say "this order doesn't require tracking" is for the the Streamlined USA Shipping metrics, and not Star Seller.

It was a custom order, not a pre made digital download.  I just expected as the system let me select the real reason, it would not be an issue.   Just another star seller unexpected bump. Like the messaging setup that allowed multiple different threads which ALL had to be replied to, or you lost points for not responding

For my e-mailed PDF, I put

"other"

and "emailed"

and don't put anything in the tracking field

and it works with no problem.

@CraftyCornishMaids  We have a threshold for order tracking for star seller (£10)

USA sellers don't. All orders require tracking.

That may be why you don't get a SS hit.
