I’ve had two buyers leave a note on their orders saying that they were unable to send me a message.
It's possible it was a temporary glitch - there were weird things going on with messages yesterday. Would you like me to send you a test message?
Thank you for your kind offer @PillowDetails. but It won't be necessary anymore, I asked my friend to send me a test message and all seems fine now. probably was a temporary glitch. I had the cursor jumping thing too, I thought that was for sellers and had been resolved though. These are orders from this morning. My friend without a Etsy account tried to send me a test message but she was prompted to sign in and couldn't send one. I'm not sure if that's always been the case tbh. The notes on the orders were from buyers with accounts it seems. I have one message come through with just the "I need help with my order" bit but no Message typed from the byuer, So I'm wondering if they were also having trouble typing. Thank you once again for your kind offer of help.
It looks like the problem is back for others. See the larger Thread, "Error in Customer Messaging? Cursor Jumps". *(Admin Enigma addressed it 3 hrs. ago; will alert Tech Team).
However, there is no NEW Announcement at the top of Technical Issues (only the one saying "Resolved").
