Been doing this about a year, and all of a sudden two orders in a row have been messed up. the first order now 13 days late and another order to the same customer, same shirt different color. Anyway, both orders are showing as on hold, with the reason given that payment has not been received, Etsy took the guys credit card, and even deposited mine already (for the first shirt)
never had the problem before, any ideas?
should clarify, the "on hold", and "payment not received" message is from printify.
The buyer pays Etsy, Etsy doesn't pay Printify, they pay you, and you pay Printify. As I understand it when you signed up with Printify you would have registered a credit card or other payment method for them so they can charge what you owe them for each order to your card. Is it possible your card has expired and they can no longer charge to it?
I think you are a bit confused. Etsy has never paid printify or somehow transferred your etsy funds to printify. Thats simply not how it works. As @BootifulLabels said above your etsy sales funds are sent to your bank account. You still need to pay printify to fulfill the order which is why you had to register a credit card for billing there. It sounds like printify was unable to charge your card on file and you may need to update it on printify.
As a side note, it may be best to set things on printify as manual vs automatic fulfillment so you can be sure each order is going through properly and manage your shop orders. That way things like this won't happen again.
I see you pop up on all my Printify questions
@Shopject Evidently you did not pay Printify!
