no shop names appearing under photos in search

Hi everyone,

Just curious, not whinging...is anyone else out there concerned that there are no longer shop names appearing under photos in search? Also, is anyone else out there concerned that even when you pay for advertising your "ad" shows simply as "ad from etsy seller"? It seems odd to pay for advertising and then it's anonymous, right?

This has been a test that has come and gone over the past year. Not everyone is seeing what you are seeing, which is why not everyone is concerned at this moment. I have been in this test before, but I currently still see the shop names, so I am not in this round of testing. There were many posts in the past during other test phases, so yes, as people see it, they will likely become more concerned.

If I start a search by going to Categories and then filtering down the search results to get where I sort of want to be - today - I see "Ad by and the Etsy shop name".

If I start a search by entering my search term into the search bar - today - all I see is "Ad by Etsy seller".

I'm signed in to my account, on a laptop/W10/Chrome. The reason for the difference? Anyone's guess so it may be a test but not necessarily linked to an account but how the search is initiated?

Sometimes they show and sometimes they don't on Etsy's whim!
