new app can't load photo's

In the new App, uploading photo's fails about 75% of the time.  Says "cannot load photo, contact Etsy support".

I have tried one at a time and several at time, uninstalled and reinstalled, still not working.  I have an android phone

Exactly, I hate having to log on my laptop when my phone was so much more convenient. Unfortunately, the new app does not work on android phones. My motto is " if it is not broke, dont fix it"

Hi, the problem is the new app is not compatible with the android phones. I found this out yesterday. I think I may have to start looking for other means of selling my items. First the sales are pretty much nil on etsy, and now this app issue. I like the convenience of using my phone to check my etsy shop, it is quicker then having to boot up my laptop. I  left ebay years ago for the same reason. Constantly changing things that was not in favor of the seller, making it harder to have a business, and wanting to take more of my money to promote my items. It is the same thing on etsy. In the mean time, I set my messages for 5 days ahead now so I don't have to login in with my computer since I CANNOT get the app for my android phone, and do not see a cost benefit to purchase another phone that will support this app, just to not get any sales.....

Hi, I cannot download the new app as I have an android phone as well. The Google play states the new app is not compatible with our phones. So now what are we supposed to do?? I have a laptop but it is not as convenient as my phone. And what about the sellers that do not have any other device besides their phones? They need to revert back to the old one as that was fine.

I have an iphone and I cannot load photo either.  I have tried multiple times, over a period of months.  The old app had no problems.  I am so dissapointed.

I too have an Iphone and i say 65 percent of the time it ails to load the photos. Which means my quick uploading of items on my lunch break at work is not a thing anymore. Why make our lives any easier that would be madness.

I have the same problem and contacted Etsy.  I have a new Samsung Ultra 23 Android phone and it will not load any photos.  I uninstalled the app, restarted my phone, installed the app and still didn't work.  Contacted Etsy support through chat feature and they recommended that I use a browser on my phone. It makes the app pretty much useless since I only use the app to load photos onto my listings.    The cha-ching also disappeared for sales.  Had to uninstall the app and install it again to get it to work.

I thought it was just me.  I can't load pictures either, I did some yesterday but today NOTHING will load.  So annoying.  I have an Android phone.  Etsy please fix this issue, it looks like it has been ongoing now since beginning of April or so, anyone figure out how to fix this issue?

It has now taken me almost 20 minutes to load six photos for a new listing.  It use to be instant!  Selling on Etsy use to be a key part of my business but now I can't use it because it is not worth my time to spend half an hour on one listing.  Why can't they fix this?  Please fix this Etsy!

I am having a horrible time trying to add videos with my listings. They are not too long or too big. I just have to keep trying till it goes through about six or seven times. That never happened before! HELP that takes too long!

The consensus seems to be use "old" listing form via a browser (even a mobile one) due to all of the issues with app.

I have the same problem since Etsy started the new App. I thought it was my phone but now I see it is the problem with an Android alltogether. I wished they would let us use the als old version again. It just does not seams to make any sence.

I have an Iphone & it still has issues loading the photos. I did Etsy chat and they were no help at all. They Said to try opening up from a browser on my phone. So I did, then I had to turn the wi-fi off to get the photos to load on the browser! Gaaaaa!!!!

Yes, same here, first we could no longer share photos with a customer via messages, not cannot upload photos from the phone straight onto the listing, frustrating!
