I am super nervous & worried!
I got an intellectual property claim for a listing image that I am the owner of - I did the shoot myself & its my own artwork.
I wrote to ETSY multiple times but I am unable to get it sorted.
There is one very strange thing - The person who has put through the intellectual property claim has posted several other pictures in his Instagram as well & all of them are of my competitors & each one of the listing has already been taken down. All the posts were made recently - looks like the images were downloaded through the listing page & reposted in Instagram.
Is it possible that I could get ETSY to review this situation please?
@WestNinthVintage If you are going to diversify your business into the neon sign business here on Etsy - Expect This - And worse to come.
You have been doing it for a few months now my guess is your competitors are looking at your overall sales total and thinking they are attributed solely to neon signs and that you could be a major player.
You are among a hornets nest of drop shippers, Etsy recently added more info to their fee avoidance policy to cover some of the underhanded practices of these drop shippers
The price stated in each listing description must be an accurate representation of the sale. ( If it is only a deposit it must be stated that it is a deposit ) Sellers may not alter the item's price after a sale for the purpose of avoiding Etsy transaction fees, ( send an invoice via Paypal for the rest of the payment instead of creating a listing through etsy ) misrepresent the item’s location, ( If it ships from China or Pakistan then state that and add your production partners ) or use another user's account without permission.
You might find this could cause you more hassle than it's worth, keep yourself right.
