messaging potential buyers

I usually message a potential buyer when they favourite an item but the envelope icon to do this has disappeared there only appears to be an option to "follow" which I don't want to do. Is this just a glitch or a deliberate removal do you know?

@Lolliette if a buyer has selected a shoe size and then clicks the 'let me know when it's back' button does Etsy not tell you the variation they selected?

Seems like that's an issue with the stock request feature rather than messaging.

@BagmakerSupply Yes, that's a good point. I'm not sure how that feature works but I'm guessing the restock request must come through as a message - can anyone clarify that please?

@NannieCool   I would stop favoriting items if I was contacted by the sellers.  They also would never get my business.  It's just NOT a good idea!

Yes still applies but I bet it will be closed ...just the time for me to say that even the reduction proposal they send when I favorite something, I consider it as a personnal attack lol
