You used to be able to take an order that was marked as gift and unmark it so you could print a packing slip and remark it as a gift. You have to print the invoice for the outside of boxes to some countries. Now I can't unmark it anymore.
You're not alone. This has been a problem for months and a bunch of us have complained. So far, I haven't seen an official word from Etsy about it. If you search the forum, there are several threads. This is one of them:
