first pictures all black - not visible!

Hi, when browsing via Etsy I noticed that some listings are all black - first picture is not visible ... I jumped into my shop and noticed the same! Is there something going on?

It would appear so, I just listed something and in my listing page it is black, my shop page shows the photo.

Same here.  I first went in to see if I could move my images around to make them work, then realized it is site wide on Etsy.  I have a feeling someone is working on the coding again.  It's a big problem for buyers to search for something and get black squares.  I expect to see an "Etsy Incident" email soon.

of course, it is important for buyer to see image at once, s(he) will not come back to check what that black square means Let us hope it will be fixed soon

@WoodHistory   @LynnsLittleShop   @EvensensProductions   I went into all of your Shops and am not seeing black squares in place of photos.  They all appear.  But that doesn't matter; all of you are experiencing the same, so something definitely must be amiss.  It may be like everything else; not all of us sees the same thing at the same time.  I hope it's fixed soon, because you know other's are viewing the same as you.

Glad to know we are not alone. Black Images appearing for us as well. Even tried clearing my computers history lol

This occurred a short time ago. All was well first thing this morning. One of my shops is fine, this other one looks awful. If I view it from Edge, the browser I use for my other shop, it's normal. It's here in Chrome that has the sudden problem. Many of the photos are extremely magnified. Wondering if I should put the shop in vacation mode because it looks so bad.

Must be a rolling blackout.... because I have not seen it in anyone's shop (on a laptop, using Chrome)

Oh, I certainly hope it will be fixed! Something strange happen to me few hours ago - I checked my second shop on my phone and I saw it is marked all red with similar words - "we closed your shop as your bank account has not been confirmed" ... First thing at home was computer - but there was (and is now) all clear, all fine. something is going on ...

Same here! Some of my listings first photo are black, some is very zoomed and blurry. In all my 3 shops! It is some Etsy glitch?

I've got black photos too and also some blurry ones. Lets hope Etsy rectifies this in top gear as we could all be loosing business right now.

I have checked a number of shops here & have no problems in seeing photos.

The only thing I could notice is that the vast majority of those posting here are Star Seller Shops.

Not only do I have black squares where photos should be, some of the photos are in extreme closeup. I'm selling coffee mugs and two of the photos are zoomed in on the hands holding the cups and they are borderline pornographic looking, lol
