you are sending emails to people who have bought something saying it is no longer available and to pick something else from someone else shop. please fix it! you're making us all look stupid....you included.
There are a few other threads already related to this issue. It's been happening for at least a week already.
I just had this happened. Fortunately that buyer contacted me and asked about it. The real problem is, what if someone assumes they didn't make a purchase or it didn't go through and then actually does go and buy something else? The person they might decide to be angry with might be me.

There is a glitch with their latest push to buyers.
I have been getting "It's almost sold out make it yours" emails for about 2 weeks on items I've favorited.
I've also received the "sold out" emails showing similar items on things I've favorited but haven't purchased. They are just sitting in my fav list.
So, clearly, they are trying a new push, but somehow it's pulling in actual SOLD orders and sending emails to customers.

i don't want that, as a customer i wouldn't want to be disturbed in this way

Months. This has been happening to me for months. I've gotten several angry messages asking why I'm taking money for a product that won't be received and I honestly had no idea what was going on until I got the sold out email. It honestly feels like for every improvement Etsy makes, there are a hundred that are headaches for us sellers.
The amount of pestering Etsy thinks help with sales is laughable.
I am annoyed that my customers may be receiving these "almost sold out" emails.
