etsy seller app messages no longer allow copy/paste?

I can't copy any messages from chats any longer. Whenever I try to copy a text from the chat, I can mark it, but there is no usual 'copy' pop up bubble.

It worked perfectly a few days ago. Is this a new "feature"?

It’s working ok on the desktop version… maybe switch to that for the time being ( so you can message that customer without too much hassle..)

The same here! Everything worked fine but last few days there is no menu to copy/paste in messages and only (!) in Etsy App. (iPhone 13). Is just stopped working. 
I reinstalled Etsy seller app, I updated my iPhone but nothing helped. Please help! I literally can’t doing my job! I can do this only from desktop now and this suck!

This happened because of the latest update of etsy app.

I have a friend with the app version 1.73 and it worked as before. In ver 1.74 - issues. Please fix this bug ASAP.

I don't see this as a problem, so much as a necessary annoyance that could go a long way to deterring scammers trying to send fake "Etsy" messages en masse.  If they have to type the whole thing out for each message they may give up.  If not it will at least slow them down.

If it is not intentional, but a glitch, maybe they should consider keeping it rather than "fixing" it.

We need to copy some information in the messages or customers can write messages in different languages and I need to copy and translate them but I can't. This can be a problem.

Hello, I used to be able to copy messages from my customers through the seller app, but now I cannot copy the text I need to copy in the messages sent by my customers. I am an iPhone user and when I enter the messages from the customer and select the text or link sent by the customer, the copy options do not open. Thank you

For those asking why you would need to copy and paste, it’s because I use CHAT GPT to help me answer questions or reply to messages. I am trying to use technology to improve my customer service, and it works great—that is, until you are using an app that doesn’t allow you to copy.

That’s why I’m here! Having exactly the same problem. I usually copy and paste a message from a previous similar order when a customer makes a purchase and now I can select but not copy!! So frustrating!!

Same problem here, just happened today after I updated the app.

I like to send the same message explaining about the postage etc and I send the same message so it's easier to copy and paste rather than to re type each time
