etsy ads - shop sections not accessible

When I go into my Etsy Ads, I can only access 8 of my shop sections. The only way I can access the listings in the sections that do not appear is by selecting section "all" and wading through the listings page by page. It sure would be nice to be able to individually select any store category and not be limited to only 8 (only 8 display for selection). Surely this is a bug and not intentional?

Is the list going off the bottom of your screen?  Can you scroll down, or have you tried zooming out your window with [Ctrl] -   (minus sign) ?

Otherwise, maybe try a different browser.

No, I am using a computer, there is plenty of room for the drop-down menu of shop sections to display. I tried it in Chrome on my phone, only 8 sections display. I tried it in the old orange etsy app and the new blue etsy app - still only 8 sections, the first 8 that are displayed in my store.

I just went in and moved my bottom shop section to the top then went back to Etsy Ads. It now shows that section at the top, but still only 8 sections are accessible. So it definitely is related to the order the sections are in my shop and limited to 8.

When I go to your shop, I see fourteen sections. I have no idea why that would be different if you go through the ads. Sorry. 

ETA: I just found one of your ads and entered your shop through it. I saw fourteen sections.

The sections are definitely there and functioning in my shop, just not available from the Etsy Ads console.

But it would seem to me that shoppers are seeing all of your sections.

My ads are the same way. can only see a portion of sections. on desktop/laptop.

Unfortunately we can't see what you are seeing.   If you see only 8 then you may need to contact Etsy as this is an issue.  I don't have as many as you have but Etsy has all my categories showing including ones that have no holdings that  have not deleted out.    You can also share feedback.

Sounds like a glitch, but what would Etsy Ads have to do with it? Have you tried turning off your Etsy Ads temporarily to see if that really makes  a difference, or if it is just a coincidence that you turned some Etsy Ads on and your sections stopped working.

Make sure you are on Active listings and there is at least one product in each section.

Mine sometimes messes up and says I have no Sections at all, and invites me to create some. But if I hold down my Shift key while I refresh the page, it usually works correctly the second time and all my sections are there.

@DragonflyDreams1  Did you ever find out about why you only see 8 sections in Ads?  I'm on Chrome too and it happens with my ads. I can only advertise for the first 8 Sections, not the 15 that I have in my shop.

Same counts for me (using firefox). I use the search to get items in the hidden sections.

I had the same issue and figured out what it was.  I don't like the fix - but it works.  You have to go to your Shop Dashboard > Listings and then Manage the different groups you have by moving sections you want seen to the top.
Personally I don't understand why we are limited to the 8 categories.  I set my shop up with what order I want my categories in.  It's irritating to have to rearrange them so and sections items can then be advertised.

I know it's an old thread but just had this happen to me, and its pretty amazing this bug still exists over a year later.

I tried both, the desktop/browser version and the sell on etsy app and it only shows the first 8 categories.

Does anyone know if Etsy is aware of this problem with their ads console, and if no, is there a way to report it to them?
