Shop Removed From Search, It's been almost 5 months

Hello! I'm hoping I can get advice or help from anyone with a similar problem.
On July 8th I received an email stating that my shipping rate hadn't improved so my "shop, profile, and listings are no longer visible in Etsy's search, ads, and recommendations. While buyers with a direct link to your shop can still place orders, your shop is not viewable through a general search at this time." I also received a link to file an appeal in the same email, which I did at the first available opportunity (at first it said I missed the window to file an appeal, which was impossible since it had only been a day, but that's fixed now and beside the point).

My appeal has now been open for months, with last week I saw the "last activity" in My Support Requests said "6 days ago". But upon clicking it, there was no note or message.

I then requested a call from Etsy to try and figure out if I should be filling out a second appeal, and the person on the phone looked at the open appeal, saw whatever message was left (they didn't say what the message was) and said out loud to me "That's weird. You should've seen something by now."

So, all this to say, should I be filling out a second appeal since it's been longer than the 2-3 weeks estimated time? Would that have any negative effect on the appeals process?

Since this has happened my orders have tanked, I'm lucky if I get even one a month. Most of my orders came from the Etsy Search, so with this it's almost as if I have no shop. It's extremely discouraging since I've been selling on Etsy for over a decade now. I would literally do anything at this point to get my shop back to normal.

Anything would be helpful, I've searched several groups to see if anyone has had this same issue as me and NOTHING shows up, even quoting the email exactly doesn't show anything! I feel like I'm going crazy over here. Thank you in advance.

Your shop does not seem to be indexed, I assumed that if you did not meet the service stats it may lower your search visibility, not have your shop taken from the search totally.

Have you managed to get your customer service stats back on track?

All my customer service stats from this review period and the last one are 100%, on time shipping, message response rate, reviews etc.

Your shop and listings are not indexed.  Since you've received no help from your original request, you should consider opening a new Help request by email.  Find a topic as close as possible to the problem and put ''my shop is not indexed'' in the subject line.  Your original request has been on the back burner for so long, sending another request regarding the indexing problem might get their attention.

It's possible you've been overlooked, but it's also possible they don't want you back. Etsy takes shipping very seriously unfortunately,and your feedback suggests several customers were unhappy with your long processing times.

I think all you can do is get some kind of social media, sell some items, make sure you ship on time and with tracking. Once your customer service stats page says 'meeting standards' you can write to Etsy again and ask them to look at your shop for re-indexing. If you contacted them right now there's nothing they'd do for you and probably just tell you what I have.

Your shop is not indexed.  Send Etsy an email and ask them to index your shop.  Use Contact us and then look for 'I still need help'.   If you have chat ask them to send your issue higher up.

I;m sorry you have waited so long but really that first month I would have been hounding Etsy if it were my shop.

Unfortunately when I go to the chat I don't get a response. I think whoever I chatted with before never closed out of it. I did send an email request though, so hopefully I get a response back on that one of these days, haha.

If I copy paste my listing URL in Google and I see the listing is indexed, and if no is not? Is that how I check? Thank you

@DesignBoomGraphics you search for a keyword you use in your own shop search bar. 

zero results = not indexed

@DesignBoomGraphics: Being indexed by Google (or any other search engine) is totally independent of being indexed by Etsy.

To check if a listing is indexed by Etsy, go to your shop home page and search within your own shop.

This is precisely why I disagree with the different levels of access of customer service availability.    This seller is not indexed and has been neglected on service issues for potentially months; it would be the prime opportunity to contact a representative via chat for assistance to get the shop accessible immediately and yet because they have not been able to achieve this, it is going to be nearly impossible to gain any badge.

OP - I know you didn't ask for a critique but I wanted to mention I think you would be further ahead to separate out some of your plushes into individual photos and/or listings.    That would build your shop but also give the buyer a better idea of the item in a photo if they aren't all grouped together.  Especially the bats - I truly didn't know what was in the picture from the thumbnail until I read the title and catching buyers as they go by in today's complicated search is very important.   Maybe if you do a few photos now, by the time Etsy reindexes you, your shop will come alive.   Hang in there!

Every time I try to contact someone at Etsy I feel like I'm talking to a brick wall. Here's hoping I can get somewhere soon!

@SunshinePlushies  When you contact Etsy Support - make sure you are asking them to index your shop. Just make a short request.
