I received an email from Etsy that "Tammy" sent me a new message, however when I click on my message inbox, there is no new message from anyone. How can I access this message??
Perhaps Etsy closed that account for spamming and scamming.
I am having the same problem- notification through the app and email, but nothing in my messages when logged into my shop. Looked through all the folders. Tried replying to it via the app, but it keeps saying it can't be sent.
All it is is a customer asking for sizing advice. Nothing scammy. I've let customer support know, but as it's the weekend I'm not holding my breath.
Try using a web browser instead and check the spam folder.
@GalleryAntiques I have already done all that- it's completely missing from all inbox folders on both the app and desktop.
All I've got left to prove it's existence is a screenshot and an email notification.
Have you checked the spam folder? If it isn't there, Etsy may have deleted it for being a spam or scam message.
Yes, I've checked every folder. I've also clicked the link directly to the message that was provided in my email. I've tried on the app as well as on my pc. No luck!
Just so you know- my missing message finally appeared in my inbox today. It's definitely something screwy occurring on Etsy's side. At least my poor customer finally got a reply!
