I had to change the ship by date for 4 orders as a part hadn't come in to complete. I sent the adjust ship by date to the customers with new ship by date. it took effect and showed not as "late" and new date. Then it reverted back to showing old date on 3 of them!! so LATE but it won't let me adjust the date (as you can only do it once).
So now I get dinged for lates on these??

Did you update these on the original ship date? It sounds weird they would revert so perhaps they didn't take the first time. Have you tried again?
yes I tried to redo and the option is now not there .. the option goes away after you change the date 1 time
You weren't actually at the ship by date were you when you tried to change it?
I think the day before. It showed as changed but now it is not on 3 of the 4
This same exact thing has happened to me. Last night I needed to update 3 orders with new ship by dates. Each took affect immediately with issuing the new ship by date, and each order is showing the email/convo that went along with the new date. Today 2 out of the 3 reverted back to the old date showing as "overdue" yet, that email notification with the new ship by date is still present.
@SexySkinsLeather This is an old thread and Etsy asks we not use old threads. It would be a good idea to start your own.
It sounds like you need to contact Etsy to ask them to check to see if there is a glitch in the system. You did change before your processing time frame ended or before the original ship date passed?
