Someone appears to have hacked my account. My shop name was changed from Sansei Craftsman to SanseiCraftsmanShop and my name was changed from Kim Nitahara to Kim. My email address is still the same at kim.nitahara@metasol.com, but all of my listings were replaced by other types of listings. I cannot access my orders or messages and need to get messages out to my customers! Any help would be appreciated!!
Hello Kim, thank you for your report! I'm very sorry to see this. I've escalated this to an account specialist on your behalf, so please look out for a reply via email shortly. As this matter will be resolved with you directly, I'll close up this thread now. Thank you all for offering help!
Also, hopefully the Admin will see your post and help you out.
I have reported your shop and linked this listing - hopefully someone can do something for you.
Sadly neither I nor anyone else here can help you as this forum is just other shop owners, not Etsy staff. I would remove your email adres though, we don't need to know it and it could be an additional security issue. I do hope you manage to contact Esty and that they can help you. Been seeing lots of hackers lately, often to shops with zero sales (don't see any sales in your shop so not sure what customers you are talking about). If you hopefully get your account back, then turn on two factor authentication for logging in which should make the account safer.
It may be an idea to remove any personally identifying information from your OP (Full Name and email may present further security issues)
Currently, you have no Listings, no Sales? So, did you have access to remove Listings which the Hacker placed in your Shop?
Just a thought, could it be possible that you have two Shops and inadvertently logged into the wrong one?
You say you cannot access Orders (but you have none) and cannot send Messages to Customers (but you have none)
You do not mention your Banking Details? Have these been changed?
Edited because I have just reread the "About SanseiCraftsmanShop" information
There have ben reports of "hackers" acessing empty / unused Shops (still unsure how this could be done), and the fact that there are direct Links directing people to purchase "off site" for a 50 % discount does conform to the pattern seen with previously reported hacked Shops.
This is one for Etsy. In the meantime, perhaps place the Shop on Vacation so no one can be directed to the "scam" websites?
@CarpetCollectionAU I don't know why the OP mentions orders and messaging, but she most likely is talking about this one shop. If you look at the About page on the OP's shop, you'll see the all too familiar heading and links.
@TheVintagePineapple Thanks, I realized this when I looked at the OP's Shop again and was editing my comment as you typed.
