Your shop has been frozen due to unverified taxpayer information

I have verified and re-verified all my information. SSN, Bank account, ect. I've been selling since 2014 and none of my information has changed since then. Etsy help is non-existent and I'm being sent in circles by what I assume are bots or support desk people that aren't actually reading anything just copying and pasting form messages. Payment is disabled and all my listings were deactivated, I can't even download them to take the CSV file somewhere else. I can post new listings, but they can't be purchased. What do I have to do to get my store open again so I can continue my business?

Your shop appears to be working again, however you only have one item. I checked and I see the "add to cart" button, so it looks like I could purchase your item if I wanted to. You will likely have to re-list all of your disabled items, and then try to get reimbursed by Etsy if they were disabled in error. Were any of your items possibly infringing on copyrights?

@NanaLethaoohhh I see - I added the item to my cart and saw the message that "all payment methods for this shop are temporarily unavailable", I've never seen this before

This has happened to many shops this week. Did your name get switched out on your taxpayer page? This seller was able to make the update & get back open:

Yes it did get switched on my taxpayer page, but when I fixed it the support people started accusing me of trying to sell or transfer my shop and then reverted everything.

She posted this as the fix... however, I don't know what she means.  

To Re-activate your shop change the "Legal Tax Payer Name" under your tax information on etsy to your the "Legal Tax Payer Name" that is listed with the IRS.

This will not work in my case due to the "pending verification" notice next to Tax Payer ID, no edit button. Bank is verified, SS verified...what now? I have ticket numbers, all saying complete. Nothing is complete. I am out of patience.

I have the same problem.  Please post the fix if you or anyone else has it.  No one can tell me what needs to be changed.  I have ticket open and no response from Etsy

Me too.  Please let me know if you get a fix and a real person helps you.  Now I cant make any changes to my taxpayer info.  If I try to save any change I get an error saying Ive tried 5 times in a day, but I didnt.

I'm with you, still in the same boat. I have spoken to at least 5 different people from Etsy 'help', nothing but the same run around. I downloaded all important documents but shouldn't have needed to. Still nothing. I can't change my taxpayer name, because it says "pending verification" no way to edit. It has been pending this way for a week now. The kicker is...my name is and has always been the same on Etsy. So, Wednesday is my cut off for self to shut it down. This is far from ridiculous, the stress alone.
