And yes, @Moderator, this IS a technical issue....so please don't move this thread!

Again today, EVERY SINGLE VIEWED ITEM is a Sold Out piece, some from over 10 years ago!

What the #$$%% is going on? And yes, I know it is probably a glitch, but I am worn out from glitches here being accepted as part of the routine!

Anyone else seeing this like yesterday again?

Re: Yep, here we go again today!!

So strange. Are you using G4A to possibly see where the views are coming from? It won't show the app views but mobile and pc are pretty precise. I see what they searched for, where they are located, direct traffic vs. Etsy site search vs. social media, whether it is PLA or organic view etc. Not that it will solve the problem by any means, but I'm just curious as to where the traffic is coming from.

@TylerGraceCo.

I checked my views and most of mine are from direct traffic and the social media. I'm not sure what G4a is or your reference to PLA

@TheButlersCorner G4A is Google Analytics and PLA are promoted listing ads, whether offsite or on Etsy.

The answer is to go your browsers settings/tools, and apply strict privacy settings. In addition, do not give your browser permission to sync with any site that you open. Google and Microsoft Internet 11 is notorious for this unless you click No Syncing.  For excellent privacy and safety use Mozilla Fire Fox as your browser.

It’s happening to me too - for the past three days.  Nothing like messing up one’s conversion rate.

Re: Yep, here we go again today!!

Reading through this thread, I have a question.  How can you tell what views are - in relation to sold items vs. current items?  I don't see any way to sort views in this manner, and would love to know.  Thanks.

Re: Yep, here we go again today!!

@BaubleShoppeBeads On your Stats page, to the right of Shoppers viewed your listings XXX times, you will see All listings. Click on that and you can sort by Active, Sold, etc. (I'm on a desktop.)

Re: Yep, here we go again today!!

I just clicked 4 listings from your reviews, they were sold out, you just 4 views of sold out items. Someone could be looking at your reviews, they could have started at the end of your reviews and worked back looking through some. Were they listings that have reviews on them?

Re: Yep, here we go again today!!

@VibeEnvy What was going on for days -- it seems to have stopped now -- is that some shops -- it seemed to be mostly vintage shops -- were getting hundreds of views of sold items every day. Way too many for it to be people looking at reviews and those sold items.

@VibeEnvy I don't know how widespread it was. Enough for there to be a few Forum threads about it though. It was probably bots -- though I'll admit that I don't fully understand what bots are and what they might have been doing lol.

Re: Yep, here we go again today!!

Something else weird…

I just looked at my “recent activity” feed and it shows nothing recent- it only shows that people favorited items up to October 8th (and  backwards), nothing since then.

So my feed looks like I haven’t gotten any favs since October 8. (This morning I looked at the (the new normal) pitifully few items people had favorited in last 24 hrs, now those don’t appear at all.)
