Years on Etsy is incorrect

Hi all!

Have you noticed that Etsy has reconfigured the stats at the top of each of our shop pages (reviews, sales, years on Etsy)? I've been selling here since 2008. Mine now says that I have 14 years on Etsy. Last time I checked, 2025 minus 2008 is 17...

Anyone else have that issue?

ich bin nicht wirklich überrascht über den Rechenfehler:

neulich hat der Computer in der Arbeit eine Rechnung fehlerhaft addiert, wobei ich immer dachte Addition ist doch die einfachste Rechenart für eine Maschine...Die Hotline sagte sie kann sich das auch nicht erklären..

Ein anderes mal riefen wir den EDV-ler zur Hilfe, da alle PCs furchtbar langsam geworden waren. Wir fahren auch brav jeden abend alles herunter, im System stand aber, dass der PC seit 14 Tagen ununterbrochen eingeschalten war... da wäre ich auch erschöpft, wenn ich 14 Tage Tag und nacht hätte arbeiten müssen...

Also wahrscheinlich dauert es noch bis die Computer die Weltherrschaft übernehmen...

It is such a small thing but I am proud of my 17 years here and would like it to be reflected at the top of my page not hidden in the about section.

Same here...mine are 16 years, Etsy math 14...  I think these two or more years that are missing now in Etsy's statistics are extremely important to us as sellers.
I would have thought long term sellers ought to be applauded and highlighted for their hard work and efforts that helped Etsy to grow.

Well we got an email as a buyer saying celebrating these shops on etsy, and all there years are correct in the email but not on the site. Funny thing is most are very small sales numbers ie under 1-2k some are under 400. Which i find kinda weird, surely they would promote sellers who are selling, before our time but i'm sure there are stores with 100,000's of sales they could advertise to generate more money no?

same here-I've had my shop since 2006 and it only says 14 years.

Same here - on for 17 years but says I have been selling for 14. I also got an email congratulating me for 17 years. I contacted support and was told that it is a computer generated error so they cannot fix it but I should feel free to tell my story in my bio.

Its not just the 2010, it says I have been here 13 years but they say I started in March 2014, hmmm

The 2014 is correct. Thats 11 years.

Same here. Opened in 2007. Mine says 14 years.

Yep, it's the same for me, too.  My current shop has been opened since Feb. 10, 2010. That 15 years and 6 months, but it says 14. Seems like there are too many children with bad math skills running things.

I opened my shop 12 months ago but haven't had one sale.  Just noticed yesterday that it states underneath my banner that "Been on Etsy for 12 years".  This may be when I opened an account to purchase but I only ever conceived of having a shop on here last year.  I feel that this has put buyers off.  Would you buy art from someone that has been selling for 12 years yet, has never sold anything?
