Why no "Custom order" option inside the different sections ?

Hi all, I'm wondering why Etsy don't offer a "Custom" sorting option for the listings of a specific section, just as they do for the homepage. I'm selling vintage products from all kinds, and as I don't want to have dozens of sections, I group my products by main categories : Tableware, Decoration, Games... But then, inside these sections, everything is mixed up and I cannot arrange the listings like I want. Which means that Etsy show a lamp, then a vase, then a trinket, then a lamp again, then a vase again... It makes no sense to me... I would PAY for this feature. 

Are you bothered by this as well or am I alone ?

I am not at all bothered by that because I understand that most buyers never look at our main shop page but find listings via Etsy search, outside search engine or social media.

I see your point. So if I follow your logic, it makes no sense to even split the listings in different sections ?
