While logged into Etsy when I pull up an item in my shop on the general platform, one of the items in my shop pops up like it is in my shopping cart constantly. This is very strange and why as a practice, my shopping cart remains empty at all times. Of course when I click the notification to get rid of it, there is nothing in my cart and an item from my shop would not be in my cart anyway. Is anyone else experiencing this?

@DesignedByAudrey: "Why is an item from my shop in my shopping cart?" As you note, the item is not actually in your shopping cart. Based on the many many posts about this in this forum, there is clearly a back end glitch / bad coding that is causing false pop-ups.
I am having the same issue. I was experimenting with my shop about a week ago. I was putting things in my cart while logged out to see what my shipping prices looked like and now I have an item in my car perpetually that isn't actually there. I tried clearing my cache, and I tried deactivating and reactivating the listing, but nothing is working. I'm sure it will disappear eventually, but it is annoying to see the constant pop up.
It's probably because you looked at a listing. Etsy is sending 'nudge' pop ups to encourage people to buy. It seems that it doesn't screen out your own items. I would just ignore it.
I am having this issue too, annoying. Hope it is fixed soon.
I having the same issue too. It’s reading “Hurry! Shop this one while it lasts!”
