Ah, I see the tech team is busy at work today. Whadda ya doing?
When I hover over a Section with my mouse it shows a strikethrough.
Hello folks,
As always, we appreciate your reports. I've relayed the details to the appropriate team, and they're looking into this now. I'll post an update in this thread as soon as there is more information for you.
Hi folks,

Thank you again for your reports! I'll close this up now, with my best wishes.
I'm seeing that on "completed" for orders.
The same thing just happened to me also.
same
@NanaLetha Ah, I just found it there too, on open orders as well. I think I'm gonna have a headache today. lol
I see it on my open orders tab. Weird.
yup its on my open orders , if they are busy doing their IT thingy that always means lower sales or no sales for me , so yay
@NiciLaskin Don't you think we should get an alert so we don't change our mouse batteries, reboot our computers, delete cookies, and take an Advil or a shot of whiskey?
They tested that for a while, actually letting us know about tests. I guess they decided it wasn't worth it or something.
Yes but what fun would that be?
I see this too! I hope it is a short-duration glitch!
If they want to highlight the sections as you scroll, then fine. But a strikethrough should be the last choice for highlighting.
Many people know that strikethroughs means the text no longer applies, that thing is no longer available, that's a no-go, etc. A strikethrough over text implies "these words are no longer valid" so it would be better if they used something else.
@michellepatterns maybe someone got confused between the strikethrough and the underline.
I think you're right. I see it on the New on the orders page, too. So it would make sense that they are trying to bold or highlight something and did a strikethrough instead.
Sigh.
I've got it everywhere, every function in the shop. How annoying. I cannot being to fathom the logic or potential to this
@TheOldBarnDoor - Logic? Etsy?
Another day, another screw-up.
I also have an order showing "Ships today" ....right under the tracking number proving I shipped it 2 days ago!
@timelapse sorry, lost my head there for a bit!
I just logged on to see if this was a bug- I've got it too but only through my new orders-weird
The word ITEM above the sections is permanently crossed out ( no need to hover over)
they didn't cross out the name of the shop, I'm glad.
Edit : I've learned a new word " strikethrough" I hope that "crossed out" means something anyway lol
This week Etsy's tech department decided to use AI to rewrite the live code, instead of the interns.
Just think of the cost savings.
Lawrence (Clare's other half)
@FancyTogs LOL, that is exactly what I was thinking!
Well, nuts... I was hoping some of the fees would have strikethroughs.
Do you know how McDonalds restaurants became so popular? Consistency.
When you go there, you know what you’re going to get and what your experience will be. It doesn’t change from day to day or place to place. You can be confident about the service and product you will receive. You never enter their doors and wonder “what will it be like today?”
And those stupid blue boxes under Shop manager that aren't quite big enough to not cut off the symbols.
And the announcements cut off in the middle of a line.
These things just make it look like they aren't really up to the job.
