Why am I not getting email notifications of sales and messages?

Why am I not getting email notifications of sales and messages? I use to get both. I have changed nothing.

I haven't received certain types of emails from Etsy for years now; it is not an unusual issue. Etsy Support of course blamed me and told me to change my email address to a different provider, so I did, and still ended up missing the exact same emails. I recently had another Support person tell me my email address was the problem, but once I explained it wasn't, he said he'd look into it then disappeared. 

It's an Etsy problem, but Etsy does not care to fix that problem.

From past experience, I can vouch that if you are using msn.com as your email provider you will have issues.    No matter what their tech support suggested I try, nothing worked.   I was not receiving notifications from Etsy nor the US government nor other institutions.     I went through the painstaking issue of switching everything over to gmail and have not had an issue since.   It is something to consider

@CozyExpressions I was using Yahoo, then switched to my domain email (through Gmail), and am still missing the exact same emails I was missing before - Etsy legal policy announcements, Etsy Success, all buyer & promotional emails. Something on Etsy's end is blocking those sends.

I checked, my email address is still confirmed. Must be an Etsy problem.

I stopped getting emails from Etsy too and then I got a list of emails from Etsy help to add to my contact list.  I just put them in like a regular contact and then I started getting emails again for sales, deposits, etc.  There are 13. Hopes this helps some of you.

@HandPycd yeah, some of us did that years ago. It makes no difference if Etsy is actually not sending those emails.

@cindylouwho2 I never doubt what you say    LOL  a few weeks ago, I had to reach out to Etsy about an issue I was experiencing and first line CS did not understand what I was explaining.    I asked them to escalate the issue and i received an email from "Zetsy" using the defunct msn.com address.    I responded asking why that email address was used and was told that was what was on file.   Ahhhh NO it was not, as I had checked to make sure that gmail was the contact email previously.     They must have checked some old data to pull that address.   I shake my head daily as I read in the forums of all the issues this site is experiencing constantly.   When there are no problems, I worry what is brewing.    LOL

The Etsy emails have been fewer and fewer for me, until they just stopped totally.

I checked off every box in account settings, to receive any and all emails from Etsy.

I added etsy addresses, as suggested in a help article.

After doing this, I received one email in April, regarding listings set to expire, and one email in May, also about listings about to expire.

Occasionally, I get an email about the Etsy community/forums.

No emails for sales, deposits, shipping, etc, and also none for etsy purchases I made.

My last sale notification email was Jan 8th, and my last shipping notification email was Jan 9th.

Something is definitely off somewhere, when many different sellers, using different email providers, are not getting Etsy messages.

Nothing going to spam, either.

Just to show that is probably an Etsy issue, I just made a sale about 2 hours ago, and got an email notifing me of the sale. On my PC.

I agree with @ThePurplePuppy  Mine also started last fall.. I rarely get notified by Etsy of a sale.. BUT I do get email notifications and my email does let me know about a sale. I have Apple products.. my iPad will Cha-Ching.. but rarely my iPhone anymore. Then funny thing.. this past week my iPhone started Cha-Chinging on and off.. Not every sale-- just some of them. I, too just chalk it up to Etsy Glitches.

My Apple devices are all updated with the latest updates.. My devices are not the problem.. My sound is always up- Etsy is not my only venue and I am running my business off them.. so my sound is up.
