Where is my money

I don't even know how to describe it. I am selling today 31 December 2022 - 5 Digital that have already been downloaded by the client and the desktop shows 0 sales and shows the date January 1, 2022. The same information is shown by the application on the phone and on the computer.

This mess happens pretty much every year as there are 31 days in December . For some reason Etsy is not programmed for a 31 day month.  IT actually happens on a small scale every month that there are 31 days but it is much more noticeable at year's end.

This excludes the orders not showing on the dashboard. That is a new one and to me pretty scary as I quit receiving emails for orders for some reason. Etsy has been really glitchy the past few days.

End of year is always an issue.  The sales will count for next year.

Etsy runs on UTC time so in many places January 1 has already happened.  

Your sales today will show for next year.

That's strange. My sales for today are showing December 31st in my stats, sold orders and payment account.

Says Jan1 2022 on mine too. LOL. I have to admit I think this is a bit incompetent of Etsy.

I am having the same problem. I did a chat conversation and was told it usually takes 24 hours to update, Guy did not know what he was talking about. Anyway I will keep a manual record of my sales today and hope for the best.

Mine is correct on my desktop dashboard and showing my sale I got early this morning.

I was also wondering what happened, as my dashboard shows zero. Under completed sales, I can see the sales for today, and it also shows in my finances. It looks like just the dashboard is screwy.

@TheHomeEcLady There appear to be several issues combining to cause problems. If we choose 'yesterday' in the select dropdown then we get the correct numbers for 'today'.
