What’s going on with Views?

My views keep decreasing throughout the day.  This morning it was just 2 or 3, now it’s 10.  I don’t recall it ever going backwards before.

Does Etsy discount possible ‘bot’ views?  Or another glitch, perhaps?

When visits are updated, bot views are removed.

So I guess I'm not crazy - I saw a big decrease this morning too and figured maybe I just read the numbers wrong. I am used to seeing the visits lag, in terms of the "as of ____ hours ago" part, and I thought that was to remove bot visits; however, I don't recall ever seeing the views decrease like I saw this morning. I certainly could have missed it in the past, I don't watch either views or visits constantly during the day. But maybe something weird happened today.

The shop dashboard is a mess in Chrome on my desktop. First it wasn't keeping count after 3pm. Then, views diminished over the course of the day. Now, I just have zeros for all time frames in the drop-down. What in heaven's name is happening at Etsy?
