Hi there. I’m a star seller for March and April. But I noticed that there’s a tracking number missing that caused my ratings to go down. Upon checking, I have provided all tracking numbers, including the one that Etsy said that it’s missing. How can I contest this mistake? I have provided all my customers their tracking number, so not 1 is missing. Please help.
This tracking problem has been going on for several years, especially with Postnl.
When entering your tracking for international, you have to select Postnl international 3s, then within 24 hrs check back because it has a habit of automatically switching to Postnl international and putting the transit back into pre-transit.
If you see that is has automatically switch, go and edit the tracking back to Postnl international 3s, it will revert back to transit.
I and others have reported this many times, but as time went on, we found a workable solution as it was not being fixed.
If the tracking number is completely missing as they claim, but appears on your stats download, make a screen shot and send it via live chat when they come online later with the order number
I have the same problem. The tracking number was uploaded (and in time) but the report said they are not. I notice that for those orders, the tracking information was not fed to Etsy properly, and the status is still "Pre-Transit" after a long time, even though when I track on the website of the postal service (Hong Kong Post in my case), the package is on the move / delivered.
I'm having this exact problem. Some of my tracking stays in Pre-transit despite movement. For these orders Etsy shows NO TRACKING. I have to contact support each time and ask them to manually update the orders. I didn't catch it in time for February so lost my star seller badge due to their glitch.
