Just got this new "upgrade?"

Bugs noticed so far, double Stats on the right hand side, and double listings one of which is alpha. 

New messenger showing 793 messages not read, yet all have been replied too

New order comes in, i get a message in message and one in messenger and i have to open both for them to go away.

New messenger doesn't link up with any orders info on the right hand side.

New messenger gives no way to delete messages permantently, this is something really dodgy, especially for us sellers that deal with images that the buyer doesn't want stored, this would be against data protection.

New messenger brings images as pop ups so no way to right click copy on windows 11 at least without downloading the image first. Something thats going to cost us a lot of time

Etsy recently made an announcement that they are making changes to the Star Seller program after hearing from sellers.  Some of these changes will be applied in the messaging system.  I'm assuming they are currently working on in this area.

yes great, and i have no issues with that, but most of those should of been tested before being rolled out no? and as for the pictures and not being able to delete them at all now thats a big no go under data protection if a customer requests it

@PracticalPrintsByLee Agreed.  I used to work for tech companies and site changes were always tested and double checked before rolling out.  Etsy doesn't seem to work this way.  Not sure why?

Not fun waking up after a Holiday to all these crazy tests. So weird!  I try so hard to be positive!  But the message thingy 2x now that is such a waste!!!  Scared me as I always respond to my messages asap!  I’m like “What”. I had 11 of them!  Freaked out!  And it said I was not Authorized to leave a feedback.  Huh?  Then I went back to check it out and it was gone!!!  So crazy!  I hope it stays gone!!!

As hard as it is….let’s all be patient!  I see we are all Not Happy!  Ugh!

Ugh is right... i now have a new thingy under messages called " messenger" and there are 4 messages tagged with the orange

dot. on the right side i'm asked if i want more info and can give feedback. I clicked on it and it wants me sign into google. Nope - ain't gonna do it. 

Wish they would leave us alone .

All week they have been making changes, and sounds like they are still at it, us sellers really dont know if we are coming or going anymore, the whole thing just gives me a headache!

The " messenger " thingy under " messages is gone from my shop now.
