Views can be up and down, different every day. Sometimes a reason, sometimes not. I will say, you are selling POD items which is an extremely overcrowded category. A lot of competition.
New sellers get a higher search rank "honeymoon" so they are motivated to continue selling. Your "honeymoon" may have come to the end and your shop/listings are now in the main seller pool with far more competition. You need to start generating some of your own traffic using advertising and/or social media.
All of this is fine if you want to increase the traffic and views But his can your total views that you had DROP??
If you want your views to increase, read a few Help articles regarding titles and tags.
Fyi - Since you posted in the forums, you'll probably notice a small increase in your views now. Keep in mind that the views are coming from other sellers who are checking your shop for possible reasons for the reduced views.
I'm not quite sure you understood my issue, the number of views I currently had suddenly dropped his is that? Someone or a few people just decided to UNSEE?? This makes no sense!
I wasn't asking about increasing views I was simply asking why the existing views dropped, very simple question!
People understand just fine, chill. What HAPPENS is that apparently Etsy decides some views are bots. Currently my views are at 940, they've been climbing steadily over the last half an hour. I KNOW this is total BS and am fully expecting them to go back down to normal, which will be in the double digits, not triple. Aaaaannd... in four minutes they went up another 200. ::eyeroll:: Seriously. Something is up right now. Not the first time I've seen this kind of thing. Will add that the number of views on my individual listings does not support those numbers anywhere.
P.S. You were not clear on the time frame of the reduced views. You did not say if they'd dropped over the last hour or so, or had just decreased over the course of a longer period of time. Guessing, by your aggrieved tone, that it's the former and my answer should be helpful.
P.P.S. - Out of idle curiosity, I checked out your shop. I'm no pro, but I could see right off the bat that your titles could use more wording. Some of them don't even specify what the item is, just what it might say. This can make it very hard for people to find your items. Also good to make use of the tags you're allowed.
