When I rearrange my shop front page, when done, I click to exit rearrange - but the normal button to "View Shop" is missing. I finally noticed the "View on Etsy.com" button way at the top right of the page. But it opens the shop on a new page, so I have to go back to the other one and close it. Confusing and not helpful.
It sounds like a glitch. Perhaps try using a different browser.
I'm seeing this too. There's a big black Exit Rearrange button, but when you click it, it seems to go to a new editor page with the View on Etsy button. And the whole page is inset into a frame?? It wasn't like that before, right?
It was not like that. Looks like a test to me. But it opens new pages, and you have to go back and close the others.
My new page has a half inch grey border around everything on the shop page. The programming is confusing.
Yes, the button to "view the shop" after rearranging is now missing.
Say I move an item to page 13, hit exit rearrange, then view shop.
That action would take me back to page one easily.
Now when I move the item to page 13; I am stuck there, having to click back every couple of pages until I get to page 1 again. It is really cumbersome. Hoping it is only temporary.
It's been a few days now that when rearranging any listing, to save it, you have to click on the "View on Etsy button" at the top, which opens in a new window. Then I just click off the original window I had opened.
i didn't even notice the "view on etsy" button when searching for the old "view shop". i just closed the page after rearranging and hoped it stuck, even though it looked like i was still in edit mode. yet another test or change that serves no valuable function.
I was just editing some policies info and there was no save button but it seems like it saved anyway. The View Etsy at the very top opens a new window... do we even need to click that?... doesn't seem very clear but whatever. Sigh
When I click on it, it goes to the page which is saved, but the other page is still open, so I have to close it. But yes, that view on Etsy at the top seems to be the only way to be sure the page is saved.
