Verifying a Swedish bank account

Has anyone successfully verified a Swedish bank account? It's starting to feel hopeless. Yesterday I uploaded an official IBAN proof document (kontobevis) from my bank, but it was denied without explanation. Would love any tips or recommendations on what to do.

If its being verified by Plaid, I have heard it will reject valid US bank accounts with the only solution being to sign into your banking app and give plaid access via the onscreen prompts

Plaid is only used for US accounts.

It isn't used to verify accounts in the rest of the world.

For Sweden it says:

• Bank name
• Full name on account
• Clearing number (4 digits))
• Account number (7-10 digits)

Yes, I've entered all the information in the correct format and even copy-pasted directly from my bank statement just to make sure I'm not typing anything wrong.

I saw a few other forum threads from a few years ago where other people from Sweden seemed to have had the same problem, I'm just hoping someone figured out how to actually get verified by now so I don't need to close my shop.

Jag vet att det är segt att få svar från Etsy men har du kontaktat dom direkt för att få hjälp? Det skulle nog vara enda lösningen, att få tag på en person eftersom bekräftelsen antagligen blir nekad automatiskt.

Ja, jag kontaktade dem genom chatten imorse och då se den personen jag pratade med att någon expert skulle kontakta mig, men jag har inte hört nåt än. Förhoppningsvis löser det väl kanske sig när jag väl får tag i någon!

Finally got my account verified! If any other Swedes need help with this in the future, what finally worked for me was that I submitted a IBAN proof document (kontobevis) where I had added translations so that it was clear what was what in the document.

Just a heads up, your bracelets are really sweet but I am not sure if you are aware that trademark infringements will get your shop and your accounts closed down or sued.

Sellers using the name Taylor Swift, her name, images, album & or tour names are being closed down on a daily basis or being sued.

Yikes, I had no idea. Just assumed it was okay since so many other accounts were selling similar products. I'll take them down right away, thank you for the warning!

Yes you will find loads on Etsy selling counterfeit, some are unaware most are aware and end up coming into the forum when their accounts are suddenly blocked and they can't access their funds or have received a letter from the lawyers.

It is a complete minefield, I certainly made enough mistakes myself but I think your products would do fine without naming famous people.
