Hi all.
I have a message saying that a person has paid, it doesn't show up in any orders on Etsy site and every time I click on it it sends me to verification before I can receive a payment and is asking me to input my credit card details, and exactly how much is in my account. Surely this can not be right.(Requests a minimum of £250)
Says it's not a robot but it clearly is as it also says they are generated messages.
Can someone please help with this .?
Thankypu

@ScentifyUK23Store it's a SCAM!
Genuine messages from Etsy will appear in the 'From Etsy' folder of the Etsy message inbox. If it's not in that folder then it's from a regular user (could be a potential buyer but also could be a scammer). Never click on links in messages.
If you have entered your payment card details please contact the card provider (e.g. Bank) asap and tell them you have been scammed. They will need to block your card and send you a new one.
