UPDATE: Duh..nevermind..lol. I expected to see the drop-down menu on my listing. Apparently, having never used variations before, I didn't know that it is something they choose at checkout. I usually use the old version to list and make changes, but decided to try the new version to see if it would work through there and that's where I discovered it happens at checkout. I'd be curious to know how to use the drop-down menu for people to choose something different. I've never used it because there are usually no options for anything I make as they are one of a kind.
I've never used the variations option because my things are one of a kind but I realized I could offer standard ear wires instead of the long ones I have on some earrings, in case people don't want them as long as I've listed them. I went into variations, created my own for the shorter ear wires, hit the ad button and then clicked to confirm and all it does is turn gray and sit there.
Am I doing something wrong or is this just another glitch on Etsy? Thanks for any help.
