I set up my product and the only options I see for variations are Primary and Secondary colors. I'm using this scheme but think that there should be an option to modify the name of the variation. In my case I need a left-hand and right-hand option. It's weird seeing it sitting under Primary Color with custom names in it for Held in left hand and Held in right hand.
There is an option to create your own name for a variation. When you click +add variation, a pop up box will have the option to ''+create your own''. Another pop up box will then appear.
Your second variation does not have to be called 'primary color'. The secondary color variation you currently have should be changed to primary color.
When using variations, I type in "Please Choose" and then list them in the options below that. Maybe you could type in "Held in Right or Left Hand", then list "Right" and "Left" below as options.
Like building out the personalization section? I leave that area open so the customer can choose the color of the filament I'm printing with since it can be really dynamic.
@CoaleyedGaming: Have you seen the instructions for Custom variations provided on https://help.etsy.com/hc/en-us/articles/115015664047-How-to-Add-Variations-for-Your-Listings?segment...
Yes, I have the two set. But it seems really weird that they have the title "color" in them. Not all variations of things are colors.
Unless I missed something that locks them in the "color" status?

Perfect. Didn't really want to go back and delete my entries, but this made it easier for me to start over!
