Updating Featured Items....

I tried updating my featured items. Went to listings and the one's I didn't want featured, I unstarred the yellow star. I then clicked on the grayed star of a listing that I want featured. But when I go back to my homepage, even after exiting Etsy and then returning, it still shows all the original listings I had featured. 
How do I update?

@HomespunKat: Based on the many threads in this forum on your exact issue, there appears to be a (sometimes significant) delay in your shop home page updating with the changes, possibly due to server side caching by Etsy.

Thanks! I wanted to update my featured items with my newest. Ill check it again later.

Same here & I've tried clearing cookies & cache, still not working right, so frustrating!

I've had this issue before! I solved it by going through all of my listings including the "Expired", "Sold Out" and "Inactive" and un-star everything! For some reason Etsy includes featured items (starred) from the non-listed categories!
