Anyone else having customers expect to received their order before your processing time has even passed?
The dates are way off
Received an order last night (26/6/25) at 23.18pm GMT, my ship by date is showing as 1st July yet if I go on it to buy a label today, choose sunday 29th June (still 2 days before I have to) and the same service as they paid for 2nd class. It turns red saying may arrive late and buyer expects 30th June to 3rd July.
Now I know im good but im not Houdini, Etsy want me to make this order at midnight on the night I receive the order, and take to post box in early hours of the morning before 1st collection to be in with a slim chance of getting it there on time.
If I shipped on my last day 1st July, in what world does 2nd class post arrive in 2 days?

But its been going on ages!
If you have this issue then please please get on to etsy support, its a complete waste of time and gets you nowhere but if enough of us report it they may well actually do something

Did you have Saturday and Sunday set up for mailing? Check that to make sure the weekend is not selected.
Supposed to be that the day of the order is not a processing day. Do you have 1 day selected?
I am seeing an arrival date in the US of July 3rd. That is not correct so something is wrong.
Check your profile. Make a new one.
Maybe others will have an idea.
Thanks - I have 2-4 days processing and only Monday to Friday. Ive made new profiles and they show the same thing. According to Etsy it's an ongoing problem thats affecting other sellers but its been going on months now and still not fixed. It's so frustrating and stressful because customers are expecting orders way before they will actually arrive which makes me look bad when I am processing within my time and always shipping before I'm expected to. More sellers need to report it so they do something about it
Check all your profiles. Etsy was tinkering in May and June, mine where completely off one day out of nowhere and I had to edit every single one.
Thanks, but that hasn't worked for me unfortunately and it's driving me mad.
I have had this issue a LONG time and if you search the forums you will find other posts I and others have done on this.
