So I have been unable to send messages to my customers through Etsy since November 9. I have reached out to Etsy support 3 times by chat and once by phone for this issue. They always tell me the same thing; that a special team will contact me within 48 hours by email. I never get any email. What can I do??
Not sure what your issue might be, but Etsy will disable your messages if you are sending out too many in a short period of time. They do not want the messaging system to be used as a promotional tool.

If you are sending messages to those who favorite your items, they are not your customers.
Your actual customers may be contacted thru the email given on your sales.
