I am trying to see the "button" for refund the shipping label that was done twice by Etsy (yea technical problem) and there is no more possibility to have a refund. It was never sent or scan so they no more allow us to have a refund? Normally I clicked under the 3 little buttons but it is no more there...
Thanks for your help!

Hello, try messaging Etsy for support and request they help you to get a refund for the shipping label! In January I tried getting a refund for a few labels and USPS denied it. So I requested help, and in about 5 days I got the refund. They were very helpful. Good luck!
Unused shipping labels can be refunded if they are less than 30 days old, I would contact Etsy.. if they refuse contact them again
Thanks for the info, the help article used to say you had 10 days to request a refund on an unused label.
try the chat its quicker and they sorted my shipping label problem
I have 3 labels that I’ve contacted Etsy for…same issue…red “error” message when purchasing the first label, so I “re-purchased”, not aware that the first had actually finalized…
I have done nothing with the 2nd labels…not printed or sent. But they show “in transit”. I’m suspicious that is why there isn’t a refund button. The 3 dots only pull up a receipt.
I’ve gotten the first canned response…like how to set up shipping profiles (huh?)…nothing to relate to a refund. Waiting for the next response…sigh…
It's so frustrating when things that used to work just fine don't anymore! Same issue here...Etsy issued two Expedited Parcel labels after I also received the "error" message. Then I realized I had made a mistake - the package was supposed to ship Xpresspost, so I printed a third label. Now I would like a refund for the Expedited labels. The refund button was there immediately after I purchased these labels. I clicked on it, and it said to wait an hour to request a refund. Well, an hour later the button wasn't there anymore! These are expensive labels...does anyone know if this is a bug, or some kind of new policy? Thanks!
I just create a service ticket at Canada Post and hope the will refund me. If you need help I am here!
Thanks, Papillon9! I contacted Etsy support and to my amazement, they got back to me right away and this morning, they notified me that they had requested the refund from Canada Post on my behalf. But they also sent the refresher on how to request a refund - something I clearly know how to do myself! I replied with a detailed message about what was happening and asked them to forward it to Technical...hopefully this will be fixed soon.
Yes, last week USPS refused to refund a label where I had entered the wrong shipping method. I requested the refund immediately when I purchased it. In 14 years on Etsy, I never had this happen. I tried going to my USPS account and as soon as I entered the tracking number a big red banner came up that said "This label does not qualify for a refund." WTH? So then I chatted with Etsy support and she said she didn't know why it was refused and she got me the refund.
Canada Post refunded me yesterday, it takes much more times to file a ticket claim though... it is still a problem on Etsy.
There is no refund button for postage labels. There used to be one. Not sure what has happened.
