Hi guys, probably being dense here, but Etsy recently introduced standard shop policies, which I subscribed to, and now I seem to now be unable to delete or edit my old ones. The old policies are still being displayed to shoppers, but I can't find any way to change them. When I click on 'Edit shop policies' it takes me to the simplified tabs of the most recent format, but I can't see a way to delete or edit the old text. These policies are no longer current, so it's a problem. Any tips?
Yeah, etsy screwed up that one.
You can still do it on the old sell on etsy app, if you have that option.
@CappuccinoLace is correct - I just updated my old policies this week. Since Etsy will be pulling the plug on the old seller app soon (?), it's a good moment for us old-timers to review and update our shop-level policies, because they may as well be forever etched in stone once the old app is gone.
This is especially true for digital sellers who can't create/edit listing-level policies. There are a couple of things I want clearly indicated somewhere in my policies that otherwise would be missing if I just used Etsy's new standard template.
@ PieceByNumberQuilts Where do I go to update my return policy. When I check shop policies, it just says "see item details for returns....." And nothing there.

Thanks for asking that question and to @CappuccinoLace and @PieceByNumberQuilts for posting the solution, I have had out of date information in my policies since September and was finally able to update them in the old app , yay!
Thanks guys, this is so useful! Also it seems that I hadn't filled in all my policies in the new template (had no privacy policy apparently), and once I filled that out, my old unwanted policies stopped being visible to customers (or me). So perhaps they disappear once the new policies are all filled in? Alice x
@JewelleryDetective I'm sorry, can't help you out with the question about the privacy policy. I had one from ages ago, and didn't touch it last week when I did my other updates -- lucky for me, everything updated as I expected and my privacy policy remains unchanged. My shop is completely digital, which may affect how things work, because Etsy imposed an across-the-board policy for digital items of no return, no refund.
Interesting that both you and CappuccinoLace experienced old policies no longer being visible after doing the updates on the app. Could be related to whether you had a privacy policy before, some other factors (like digital vs. physical mdse), or.... just completely random?? Hope you can at least make whatever updates you need.
@PieceByNumberQuilts I never had old policies. My shop was opened in the template only era.
I simply gave the answer on how to fix them.
